Big Bay has a pleasant grassy rigging area. The parking area overlooks the bay. A shop, showers and ablution facilities are available, unfortunately drawing hordes of holiday makers during December (no parking for sailors left during this time).

Conditions

Side-shore to side-onshore winds, beach-break conditions. Excellent for wave jumping, but average for wave riding.
