Wild Flower Season

Each year from August to September the barren semi-desert landscape erupts into a sea of colour!

During this time nature lovers will be joined by visiting Southern Right Whales and European Bee-eaters.

Swartriet is situated centrally between the Saldanha Nature Reserve, Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and the West Coast National Park where you can witness the best flower displays.
